Vision Clip...
Anthony Kopnik was baptized last Sunday by his brother Jon ... the gospel is powerful as are the believing prayers of family and friends. Are you following Christ ... baptism is an important "first-rite" to demonstrate your commitment to Christ and the church. It is noteworthy that the apostles included baptism in their first presentations of the gospel. (See Acts 2:38) Baptism in itself does not save you ... yet it is an important sign to yourself and others that you now belong to Christ. The "Giving Garden" was "dreamed up" and built by several members of Linworth to support our benevolence ministry and food pantry. These kind of ventures bear the fruit of a healthy church. It reveals vitality when the body is not sitting around waiting for the Pastors to initiate. May God give us many more creative ideas to reach and serve our city! Jesus Christ dreamed of a church where people used their gifts and invested their energy to build the body. He, right now, is filling everything in every way! (Eph. 1:23) And speaking of gardens, be sure to thank Deb Militaru who has worked tirelessly to make our ground attractive.

Be the Church Sunday is officially booked at Slate Hill Elementary School! We are so excited to get out into the community on Sunday August 23rd, 2009, as a church family and serve together!
In effort to live out what we've learned during our Acts series entitled the Unstoppable Church, we will be closing the building and instead serve the community at Slate Hill Elementary School. Service project details to come.
